SILVERTIP HOA MEETING 5/29/2025
Meeting was called to order @ 7PM
President of Silvertip (Corey) went through 2024 Agenda and Financials with Residents
2025 Questions/Concerns:
-
Question: Dues. They are still $250 per resident; this did not get raised
-
Question: was asked about the current Landscaping Company. Multiple complaints that they are not doing a good job. Missing areas, not cleaning off walkways. They are not maintaining the Greenbelt in back. A lot of high grass and trees not trimmed. Corey informed the residents the Landscaper is paid through end of June, and if they continue to not do good service they will get fired. We can still take bids just in case.
-
Question: Last year residents were told that some trees would be cut down by Greenbelt area and not sure that has been completed. Some residents have paid to have some of the trees on their side of fence trimmed. Corey stated that it was trimming only and not cut down.
-
Question: Fencing Issues. It was stated that they can review it to see, however fencing is expensive to replace and if it so, it would be with wood fencing not current fencing.
-
Question: Irrigation not working near Greenbelt, was it fixed. Per Board it was repaired and fixed and working. One resident questioned it as it is flooding their backyard. Wendy went to review it. No resolution yet.
-
Question: Playground. Was it inspected and certified. Yes it was. Playground also needs more bark. Advised there are no bids to add more bark. Suggestion was if the residents want to come level it out, Suggestion was, Silvertip can purchase the bark from Home Depot or somewhere that sells it, have it delivered and dumped inside area, then residents came come help level it out. Last concern was the retaining wall, it needs to be replaced; it is broken in areas. Silvertip will investigate in getting that fixed.
-
Question: Has Silvertip HOA ever been audited. Answer was no. Silvertip reports the financials to the State every year. One resident thought it would be a good idea to have an outside Audit. Room for discussion. Not opposed.
-
Question: How many renters are in the subdivision. Answer was 10, 2 are from estates and family members are living in the homes.
-
Question: What does the Accountant charge yearly, Answer $2400
Email Address for Silvertip. Answer was: Silvertip.bod@gmail.com
